Dipl.-Ing. Dr. nat. techn. Thomas Krenke is a team leader for sustainable lightweight construction at W.E.I.Z. Research & Development GmbH. After studying process engineering with a focus on wood at TU Dresden, he earned his doctorate at BOKU Vienna. His research focuses on wood technology, process development, and the digitization of wood-hybrid components. He has published extensively on innovative materials, wood mechanics, and hybrid structures and leads projects within the COMET program and in industrial collaborations.
