Dr. Guiscard Glück is Vice-President of BASF SE in Ludwigshafen and heads R&D Engineering Plastics for the Performance Materials business unit in Europe. He did his Ph.D. in Chemistry in Mainz and at the Kyoto University in Japan and joined BASF in 1996. In various functions for the plastics and coatings industry, the automotive industry has been a constant point of contact within his career. He is active as an advisory board member or board member for various renowned plastics institutes as well as on the editorial advisory board of “Kunststoffe” and exhibitor advisory board of the “K-Messe”. In 2022, he was accepted into the VDI Plastics Technology Strategy Group as the 48th “Plastics Knight”.
