Dr. Wolfgang Schöffmann

Dr. Wolfgang Schöffmann studied mechanical engineering at the Graz University of Technology and earned his doctorate with a thesis on lightweight engine design.

Since 1987, Dr. Schöffmann has been an employee of AVL GmbH Graz, where he has held various positions in the field of powertrain engineering and currently holds the position of Deputy Skill Area Manager Design & Fuel Cell.

In addition to his work at AVL, Dr. Schöffmann lectures on Piston- and Internal Combustion Engines as well as Engineering Methods & Design at the Graz University of Technology and at the FH Joanneum Graz.
